On the day of the crime, Ram Singh lured Randhir to a roadside eatery where they drank heavily. Later, in a Scorpio vehicle, Uday and his associates strangled Randhir to death. His body was dumped on the railway tracks near Bamrauli station, where it was severed into pieces by passing trains.

The mutilated body remained unclaimed for 72 hours. With no identification possible at the time, authorities performed the cremation as an unclaimed corpse. Only later, through clothing and photographs, did Randhir’s family confirm the body’s identity.
